Slop-Dry Weight Calculations
The following paper, prepared by Queensberry Hunt with the help of Dr Michael Tuplin, explains the slop-dry weight calculations that can be used for body and glaze preparation at any specific gravity.
The specific gravity of the dry materials in the slop mixture is entered into the orange box, this will automatically adjust the Dry Weight and Water Content values of 100cc slop weights from 110g to 180g.
